Summer Babywearing
Summers can be really hot here in NYC not to mention the humidity
A few
tips
*Dress your baby lightly
Often just a plain shirt with a diaper/clothdiaper
does the trick
*If you feel comfortable wearing your baby on your
back you should do so. It really helps to combat the
heat
* Choose babycarriers that are either designed with
thin flowy cotton fabrics or choose solarweave
and solarvail carriers.
Some of those carriers are even excellent to use in
the pool, shower or beach.
* Choose lighter colors for the summer. For example a
black babycarrier attracts more sun than lets just
say a natural colored carrier.
* If you like wraps but find the fabric too much in
the summer you might be interested in shorter style
wraps. The Bara Barn is a
